Meet the Team

Deslyn Marsh, is a proud Bundjalung woman hailing from Fingal and Tweed Heads in Northern New South Wales. Growing up in a strong matriarchal family, Deslyn has practised both contemporary and traditional Aboriginal culture from a young age. Her deep-rooted connection to her heritage has shaped her passion for cultural education and preservation. With over 14 years of experience in the education sector, Deslyn has made significant contributions to fostering cultural understanding and appreciation. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and providing positive cultural experiences that enrich the lives of students and educators alike. Deslyn’s work is driven by her belief in the importance of cultural education in building a more inclusive and respectful society.

Isaac Bamblett, a young Bundjalung and Wiradjuri man with deep family connections to Fingal and Tweed Heads in Northern New South Wales and Narrandera in the Riverina. Despite living his entire life in Sydney, Isaac has remained closely connected to his cultural roots. Isaac’s passions encompass music, art and dance, through which he expresses and celebrates his heritage. He is also dedicated to mentoring young people, striving to be a positive role model and influence in their lives. Isaac’s commitment to his community and culture is evident in his work, where he actively promotes cultural pride and awareness among the youth.

Tyrrell Corby, a vibrant Bundjalung man from Fingal and Tweed Heads in Northern New South Wales has embraced his cultural heritage while residing in Sydney throughout his life. Fuelled by a deep passion for both contemporary and traditional dance, Tyrrell actively preserves and shares his cultural traditions. His love for animals further enriches his connection to nature and Aboriginal teachings. Tyrrell is dedicated to promoting cultural awareness and fostering a sense of pride among his community through his artistic expressions and educational endeavours.
